The Designated Montessori School –In a heart of Hyderabad

Montessori is a child-centered educational approach that celebrates and nurtures each child’s unique potential. Developed by Italian physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori, the Montessori Method has been time-tested and proven over more than a century to be an effective way to prepare children for success in school and in life.
In a Montessori classroom, children learn through exploration and discovery, with materials and activities that are carefully designed to meet their developmental needs. Teachers serve as guides, providing individualized support and encouragement as children progress at their own pace. The focus is on developing the whole child – academically, socially, emotionally, and physically – so that each child can reach his or her full potential. Bridgewell School also focuses on how children learn in educational settings such as Playgroup classes and then the at the higher levels. We look at factors such as students' motivation levels, learning styles, and attitudes towards learning. We also improvise & develop new teaching methods and assess the effectiveness of existing educational contents. Since years the designated Montessori campus for certain children’s age group was not available in Hyderabad and this is one of the reason and resultant of years of carefully planned research and the same idea became the core part in the inception of The Bridgewell School. The Montessori philosophy is based on four key principles: respect for the child’s natural psychological development; respect for the child’s individuality; respect for the child’s inner discipline; and preparedness of the environment. These principles come together to create an educational approach that is both dynamic and nurturing, one that sets children on a path towards lifelong success.

A day at Bridgewell School
A typical day in a Bridgewell school looks very different from a day in a traditional school. In a Bridgewell school classroom, there is no such thing as a “teacher” and “student” dynamic. Instead, the children are seen as equals and are encouraged to work together helping them to understand socializing and team building psychology; this ultimately trickles down to a firm positive teamwork.
The day at Playgroup class begins with a period of free play, during which the children can choose what they would like to do. They might choose to work on a puzzle, read a book, or build something with blocks. After free play, the children gather for a circle time activity. This could be anything from singing songs to listening to a story. After circle time, the children have the opportunity to work on individualized activities or projects. They might choose to work on an art project, practice writing their name, or build something out of blocks. The activities are all based on the child’s interests and abilities, so each child is working at their own level.
Throughout the day, the children have opportunities for outdoor play and recess. This is an important part of the day because it allows the children to burn off energy and explore their environment.
At the end of the day, the children gather for another circle time activity before heading home.
How Bridgewell school is different?

There are many things that make Bridgewell school different than a traditional schools. For one, we focus on individualized learning. This means that each child is given the opportunity to learn at their own pace and in their own way. We believe that all children are capable of great things and we work to help them reach their full potential.
We also have a strong focus on hands-on learning. We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in their learning. That’s why our classrooms are filled with materials and activities that allow children to explore, create, and discover.
Finally, we place a strong emphasis child psychology as whole. We believe that it’s important to nurture all aspects of a child’s development, including their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional needs. This holistic approach ensures that our students are well-rounded and prepared for success in all areas of their lives.
