Bridgewell School’s History

About Us

Starting a school can be an incredibly challenging but rewarding journey on its own. For us it begins with a passion and belief in the power of education to transform lives. With a clear vision, a strong sense of purpose, and a willingness to overcome obstacles, we took the first steps to bring our dream to life.

Along the way, we faced numerous challenges specially in a city where we lacked a Montessori focused designated campus for kids, from navigating regulations and securing funding to building a team and creating a curriculum. But we persevere, driven by our commitment to providing a high-quality education and creating a positive impact on our local community.

We carefully planned every aspect of the school, from the physical layout to the teaching methodology, to ensure that the school is a place where students can learn and grow to their full potential. We assembled a team of dedicated and talented educators who share their vision and are committed to making a difference in the lives of their students at every stage.

As the Bridgewell School begins to take shape, the founders focused on attracting students and building a reputation in the community. They work tirelessly to promote the school not only marketing but by the results also, and their passion and commitment begin to attract students and parents who share their vision.

Over the course of this time, Bridgewell school becomes a thriving community where students learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment. The founders look back on their journey with pride, knowing that they have made a positive impact on the lives of countless students and contributed to the growth and development of their community.

The Inception of Bridgewell School

At our Bridgewell school, we believe in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that allows each child to reach their full potential. We use the Montessori method of education, which is based on the philosophy that children are natural learners. This means that our classrooms are designed to encourage exploration and discovery. We also believe in following the child’s interests, so that they stay engaged in their learning. We know that every child is unique, and we strive to create an individualized learning experience for each student. If you’re looking for a designated school for your child, then this is where you should start.

The Benefits of an Individualized Learning & Focused Education

When it comes to child development and education, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Different children learn differently and what works for one may not work for another. That's why it's important for parents to explore all the different educational options available to them and find the one that best fits their child's needs in the most optimized and feasible way in during school hours. One option that is gaining popularity in recent years is STEAM education. One of the most notable benefits is that it helps children develop independence and self-confidence. In a Montessori classroom, children are encouraged to work independently and are given the freedom to choose which activities they want to participate in. This allows them to develop a sense of responsibility for their own learning and instills a strong sense of confidence in them. Another benefit is that it fosters creativity and critical thinking skills. In a traditional classroom setting, students are often taught to regurgitate information without really understanding it or thinking about it deeply. In a Bridgewell School’s classroom, however, students are encouraged to ask questions and think creatively about solutions to problems. This helps them develop critical thinking skills that they will use throughout their lives. Finally,

A glimpse of our environment

A positive school environment is one that promotes learning, growth, and success for all students. Some key elements of a positive school environment which we are focusing at Bridgewell:

A Safe and Supportive Community: When students feel safe and supported, they are more likely to engage in learning and take risks. This can be accomplished through measures such as providing a safe and secure physical environment, creating a culture of respect and inclusiveness, and offering support services for students who may need additional help.

Clear Expectations and Consistent Enforcement: Students thrive when they know what is expected of them and what the consequences will be if they do not meet those expectations. It is important for teachers and administrators to communicate clear expectations and hold students accountable for their behavior.

Engaging, Relevant, and Challenging Curriculum: Students are more likely to be motivated when they find the curriculum engaging, relevant, and challenging. Teachers can make adjustments to their teaching strategies to meet the needs of their students and make learning fun.

Opportunities for Student Leadership and Involvement: When students are given opportunities to take on leadership roles or participate in school decision-making, they feel more invested in their school community and are more likely to be engaged in their learning.

Positive Relationships: Positive relationships between students, teachers, and administrators are essential to creating a positive school environment. When students feel respected, valued, and supported by the adults in their school, they are more likely to be successful in all areas.
